Lawrence D. "Larry" Rouse has lived and worked as an attorney in Las Vegas since 1990, after receiving his LL.M. in Taxation from the highly-regarded University of Denver Graduate Tax Program. He has built a successful law practice in the areas of:
- Estate planning, working with individuals and families (using Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other techniques) to hold, protect, and transfer their assets the way they want; and
- Representing small business owners, setting businesses up for smooth operation and to maximize asset protection wherever possible, and assisting them with contracts and other business agreements.
He also provides legal services in the areas of probate, special needs planning, asset protection, tax controversies, and bankruptcy. Before returning for his tax law degree, Larry was a general practice attorney, gaining valuable experience in a wide number of fields. This experience gives his clients better industry-specific protection.
Larry is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but has lived in several different parts of the country. He earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award and still upholds the scouting ideals in his work ethic. This experience allows Larry to identify potential issues and provide his clients with better protection. After hours, he likes to spend time outdoors with family and friends in the beautiful Southwest region he calls home, with activities including hiking, yoga, cycling, traveling, watching movies, and reading. He gives back to the community as a volunteer at the Legal Aid Center and with projects by the Las Vegas Rotary Club.
